Please read the following statement
before proceeding if this is your first visit
Not knowing how you have arrived at this site it is important you
understand why this site has been created and how it can help you.
This site describes our experience with Oliver who was born premature on 17 September 96 and died 3 days later following an accident
whilst in
Hospital. I created the site when I wanted to find information on premature babies, eclampsia and
bereavement support but spent a lot of time using search engines trying to find relevant
information. The site offers an insight in to having a premature baby, information
on eclampsia and bereavement advice. If you are having a trouble free
pregnancy and wish not to know what can go wrong then move on to another site.
However you may find out you are having a premature baby or have been advised you may be suffering from eclampsia,
Lupus related complication, Takayasus or your baby has died then this
site can be of help. You may of heard about Oliver's accidental death and have been referred here for more information. Whatever the reason if you
enter this site you will find it informative, useful and provide an insight
to the conditions.
Some of the more personal
notes contained in the Oliver & Us section may be upsetting for some of you to read
as they reflect how someone feels when they lose someone so young and
suddenly, you do not have to read sections these to obtain the information
on premature babies and other conditions referenced in this site.
Please use the guestbook to share with those your own experience or suggest ways the site can be enhanced. We are happy to correspond by email to those
who have suffered like ourselves although we are not trained counsellors we
can share with you your thoughts
